How to choose the perfect diamond
A beautiful diamond is not the one with the longest certificate. It is the one whose proportions, personality and setting feel right when you wear it.

Begin with cut, not carat
Cut determines how confidently a diamond returns light. A well-cut stone can look brighter and more alive than a heavier stone with weaker proportions.
Look at the diamond in daylight as well as warm indoor light. It should feel lively when you move your hand, without relying on a spotlight to create sparkle.
Balance the four Cs around her
Colour and clarity are ranges, not competitions. Near-colourless diamonds can look beautifully white once set, while tiny inclusions that are invisible without magnification need not decide the purchase.
- Choose the shape she naturally wears, then compare stones side by side.
- Prioritise an excellent cut before moving up in carat weight.
- Ask what the grade looks like to the unaided eye, not only on paper.
- Match the setting to her routine, especially if she wears the piece daily.
Let the certificate confirm the choice
An independent IGI or GIA report verifies the stone's measured characteristics. Check that the report number matches the inscription and keep the document with your invoice for future service or exchange.
“The right diamond should make sense on paper and still make you pause when it catches the light.”
